Is Oh My Etch part of EtchWP?

Oh My Etch is not a Digital Gravy product. It is a paid addon that assumes you already have Etch. A competitor blog folded that fact into a team-breakup story. The plugin is checkable. The breakup is not.

What the plugin is

Oh My Etch describes itself as a professional layer for the Etch workflow: accessible UI atoms, faceted search, and WooCommerce surfaces. Packs are sold separately from EtchWP. The terms of service name Honestly Design and Wojciech Piskorz as the operator. A testimonial on the pricing page credits "Woji" with building it.

That is the public product record. It does not say he was employed by Digital Gravy, and this page will not invent that sentence.

What the June 6 post adds, and what it does not

On June 6, 2026, UltimateWB published "What's Going On with the Etch WP Team? (Digital Gravy Drama Explained)". UltimateWB sells its own website builder. The post claims:

• someone it calls Woji left and built Oh My Etch because version 1.0 lacked advanced dynamic filtering;
• two people disappeared from the Digital Gravy team page;
• livestream comments about the team dissolving were deleted.

This site has the post and a full-page capture. It does not have a team-page diff, a resignation, or a recording of deleted comments. The dollar figures in that post are not repeated here. Repeating an unverified departure as fact would turn a competitor's sales article into our reporting.

The v1.0 date the post uses, January 30, 2026, does match Digital Gravy's own release post. That match does not validate the rest of the piece. Dates can be right while the personnel story is unchecked.

The community record is edited

The June post's claim that team questions were deleted fits a pattern this record can show without adopting the headcount. On September 1, 2026, in the vendor's own community, Kevin Geary published a post titled "AI Posts & Comments Get Deleted."

“If you use AI to write your post and then AI to respond to everyone's comments on said post, your post will get deleted.”

His reason, in the same thread:

“COMMUNITIES are for humans”

The same week, a member thread comparing Etch Studio with Bolt, v0, Lovable, and Base44 was removed. This page does not know whether a moderator, the author, or that new rule took it down. The result is visible either way. A product question did not remain where members would look for it. A personnel question, according to the June post, did not remain on the livestream. The story that is easy to find is the one that was not removed.

That is the recurring pattern: control of the remaining story, not a single missing comment. It is also why the comparison that thread was asking for is answered here, outside that community, in If you don't need WordPress, what is Etch Studio actually selling?. Names, avatars, and the community screenshots stay off this site. The timeline is where the dated product record lives. The deletion rule is a community statement, quoted by date, not a screenshot.

Why the plugin still matters

Etch was sold as a way out of the old plugin stack. A second vendor now sells filtering and storefront UI that snap into that canvas. Whether or not anyone left, EtchWP users who want that behavior are being asked to buy it from Honestly Design.

That is a product fact, and it sits next to the maintenance record on Is EtchWP still being actively developed?. Core releases since July 8, 2026 have been fixes. Faceted archives showed up as someone else's product, not as a row on etchwp.com/changelog.

What would change this page

• Digital Gravy ships native facets and says Oh My Etch is unnecessary.
• Oh My Etch's terms name a different operator.
• A primary source, not a competitor post, documents who left the team and when.

Until one of those happens, the safe sentence is the short one. Oh My Etch is real, separate, and for sale. The drama write-up is a claim about people, and this record does not confirm it.
