How much does Etch Studio cost?

The pricing question is straightforward and currently unanswered. etchwpstudio.com documents what is known from public sources; this page states only what can be verified.

What is officially known

“We're not 100% on the pricing for Etch Studio yet. It's going to be insanely cost-effective.”

Geary also said on the same stream that the Etch Connector would carry no add-on fee and that he was considering bundling ACSS:

“ACSS could just be bundled with it … it's just part of the workflow.”

None of this constitutes a price. It describes intent and cost framing.

What a multi-tenant Etch actually costs (analysis)

On the August 25, 2026 stream, Geary explained that EtchWP plugins cost nothing to deploy infinitely, while Studio has direct cost because the vendor operates and maintains the database. Media storage uses Cloudflare R2. One-click publish connects to the client's Cloudflare account.

The table below is analysis of cost layers, not a vendor invoice. It maps what should be billable in a multi-tenant Etch versus what Studio charges for today.

A hosting fee for database, media, and compute is justified. A second product entitlement for the same Svelte canvas is not — especially for people who already funded EtchWP through lifetime or annual licenses. See Is Etch Studio included in the lifetime deal? for the entitlement question.

What LTD holders were owed instead

On the same stream, Geary described a unified dashboard as a goal, not a shipped feature:

“Think about a unified dashboard where your studio projects and your WordPress projects show up all at once … that would be phenomenal.”

If that dashboard ships, LTD backers should not need a monthly fee to access a unified environment they already funded. A self-hosted non-WordPress option should exist as well — same canvas, their host, not a rented tenant. The constructive shape for people who already paid:

• One Etch app endpoint where LTD holders see all their sites — WordPress and hosted — in one place, without a second checkout.
• The app works as it is. Optional self-host of the published site (already true for Cloudflare and ZIP output) and, later, a self-hosted non-WordPress editor.
• Bill usage hosting, not a monthly fee for the canvas.

What the community is saying

In mid-September 2026, members in the vendor's community discussed roughly 45 to 50 dollars per month for Etch plus ACSS with unlimited sites. A member asking whether that applied to LTD holders received the answer that the LTD covers etchWP and ACSS as WordPress plugins only.

Every mention of 45 or 49 dollars on this site carries attribution as community discussion. No figure is presented as official.

What is not included

Etch lifetime deals ended July 15, 2026. They cover the WordPress plugin, not Studio. Any Studio subscription is a separate purchase on top of whatever EtchWP license you already hold.

What to ask before subscribing

When official pricing appears, the questions worth asking are: does an LTD-holder offer exist, what happens to your project if you cancel, do you get a Git repository or only compiled files, and does the price include ACSS or require a separate entitlement.
