Why this site exists
You're not too dumbto own your website.
Somewhere along the way, building a website got pitched as something you can't do without a platform and a monthly plan. We think that sells people short. So this site does two things: it shows the record, with a date and a source on every line, and it shows the tools, so you can do it yourself.

Every claim on this site has a date and a link. Don't take our word for it: open the source. If we got something wrong, tell us and we fix it in the open.

A site you paid to make should live in files you can open, move and keep. If a tool keeps your work inside it, you deserve to know before you pay, not when you try to leave.
It's easier than it looks.
In 2026 an AI agent in a free editor writes most of the code. What it needs from you is a clear brief and a good base, not a canvas you rent by the month.
Plain words, real numbers.
No jargon walls, no “trust us.” If something costs money, we say how much and the day we checked.

The workflow page asks a few questions about your business and writes a prompt you paste into Bolt or Claude. A one-page site costs nothing; more pages cost one month of a plan you can stop. No sign-up.
